IsoDynamic required the development of a Spec Builder tool that would act as an expert system. This tool would help engineers choose the right cable, based on the specification requirements.

Solution

PositiveEdge initially developed a prototype of the Designer Spec, which is a customized engineering tool that makes writing and editing Master Format specifications fast and easy. Its easy-to-use tree format keeps the contents of the client’s specification organized to Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) standards at all times, while its preview panes ensure that “what you see is what you get” - from the initial tree view to the final output.
